Yes I did. I looked inside both the files with the Calibre editor tool... Even your azw3 had a couple of items added.
It seems there's no way to convert an epub to azw3 without the Calibre converter--all the online tools I tried added Calibre stuff to the file...!
It seems any global declaration gets added to every single instance of class thereafter, so even though my file only had "nonindent" and "right" as classes, it created a dozen additional classes for i, big, small, sigil_class_not_in_toc for each h-tag etc etc

Disabling font scaling in the conversion helps limit the number, but the global hyphenation declaration (for example) still gets added to every single class--seems Calibre doesn't allow those...
