It was worth trying but unfortunately didn't help. Still have same problem. Everything seems OK with my Amazon account just something weird changed with the KindleForPC.
I am using 2 KindleForPCs on 2 different computers. Computer#1 has version 1.24.3 installed and I have used for years to download books with dates earlier than 2025. Computer#2 has had version 2.4 for the later books and then I updated in September to v2.8. All has been working well with both setups up to this weekend. Purchased books go into the Amazon Cloud Reader and are available to be downloaded by whichever computer I need based on date. Computer#1 continues to work for downloads and all is fine. Not sure what changed but not a big loss for me. Only limits my ability to get any new books published this year.
