That is the difference between the adobe--epub-- render and the Kobo--Kepub--render on your kobo.
Just send them to your kobo as a Kepud using calibre.

Then, I use USB to put them directly on my Kobo. When I open the Baen ebooks, the font is HUGE. And if I could simply adjust it, that would be fine. But when I adjust the font size in the Baen ebooks, then it affects the font size on all other ebooks.
Is there another step I should take? After I download the epubs from Baen, should I convert them in Calibre to another format?
