Downloading Japanese eBooks from Rakuten Kobo via ACSM requires a tricky method. Attempts to change your account's country are usually blocked.
However, I'm not a big fan of Adobe ADEPT DRM. I don't see anyone talking about this, but it has its own unique "dialect"... it alters the notation in OPF and XML files from the original. It seems no one has ever "corrected" it.

Aside from the very unfortunate fact mentioned above, the rest preserves the publisher's intention, but for some reason the file ID of the OPF file is deleted.
