A funny idea occured to me, that none of this is actually off topic if you come to think of this thread as a surrogate for the official bookeen's blog. It's just a natural and direct consequence of bookeen giving us silent treatment. All this stuff, like what's going on with weltbild and the possibility of two fw versions should be posted on bookeens blog.
GeoffC, you should rename the thread Unofficial or Hearsay Bookeen Blog.
People when they want to find out what's happening with bookeen come for information to MobileRead anyway.
