I saw the original message and tried that before I saw your addition. And...it still didn't work.

As for the dual video chipset, I don't know? No, I guess I am? I looked up how to tell, and I do have two things listed under Display adapters:

Intel(R) UHD Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU

How do I know which Calibre is using?

Are you on a laptop with dual video chipsets? If so, before doing the above suggestion, have calibre run with the other GPU it's not currently running with. If that and the above suggestion fails, add the following environment variable and reboot.
