I suggest that you require the dentist to use the kind of local anesthetics that do NOT contain epinephrine. They have far fewer side effects and they wear off much faster. Dentists prefer to use the kind with epinephrine just
because they don't wear off as fast. My chart at the dentist has a big read flag on it NO EPI, and
always tell them as soon as I sit down in the chair - "no epi".
