Nowadays you can do like this: preferences -> look and feel > book details

then add this to css styling, for example

#comments {font-size:14px; color:green;}

#comments a {font-size:14px; color:fuchsia;}

the latter changes the color of the links in the comments section.

Interestingly, I tested this on fresh portable install and I had to restart Calibre for the initial changes to pick.

After restarting, any change takes instantly.
