Calibre Web: Browse Covers, Descriptions, etc.?

Recently got KOreader on my Kindle Scribe and I was able to connect to my Calibre server using the OPDS browser.

One thing that I'm missing, however, is the ability to see the covers, drill into the description of the book, etc. On my Boox device, I have an old version of Calibre Companion that serves me pretty well for that type of browsing - I can then just download the EPUB from there and it opens in KOReader for me automatically.

Since that's not an option for me on Kindle, is there any plugin for KOReader that would give me an enhanced Calibre browsing experience?

EDIT: Maybe this is kind of what I'm looking for? https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/14097
