Device: k4, Kobo Clara, Kobo Libra 2
I was able to restore Libra 2 with a new microSD card.

The issue turned out to be the shredded waterproof coatings in the sd slot preventing effective contacts between the card and slot. two different microsd cards with image file both failed to be recognized by the kobo, only showing a blank screen.

I cleaned the SD slot with more swapping alcohol, canned air, and a paperclip in order to scrub off the coatings inside the slot. Once the remaining coating shreds were removed, the kobo reboots without issue.

Also worth to note, When i called Kobo initially after device failure last week, i was told the reason of its failure is because I didn't upgrade my device's firmware. I also was able to clone my old microsd card and put the image file on a new card instead of using image file from DNSB, the device boots fine and after sync, the software is upgraded from 4.38.23429 firmware to latest 4.38.23552.

Many thanks for DNSB providing the image file, that put me on the right path.
