questions for microsd image file for kobo libra2
greetings
I downloaded and wrote the image file for kobo libra2 (model N418 version E) onto a new 32GB sd card since my previous sd card got corrupted and wouldn't boot. thanks DNSB!
during initial setup libra2 repeated prompted me for connecting to wifi and downloading updates, after half a dozen time repeats, i decided to connect it to windows and used Kobo Desktop to finish the setup, which was ok.
then, i added my library card and tried to sync the device to download borrowed books, the device download updates and rebooted automatically, but no new books showed up, repeated a couple time and same results.
so i looked at the device infor page and the software version for the device is 4.32.19501 and serial number displays as 'Noooooooooo', updating the software resulted device reboot but software version remains the same.
i used 'Win32DiskImager' to write the image file downloaded from DNSB to microsd card, the kobo prompted me to enter password everytime it tries to connect to wifi, Is there something I'm missing? is the image file read-only and not upgrade-able by user?
