From the plugins section - I only can see these 4 as AI providers and the only other available for download is Ask Grok, so not sure if I can force update it.
I completely understand what you mean now. This isn't about the calibre version, but about how you obtain and install the plugin.

Currently, the calibre Plugin Index is still in the `Ask Grok` version, so searching the calibre plugin online list will only show Ask Grok. However, the Thread we're discussing is the new version I'm planning to replace (also called Ask AI Plugin), which hasn't been merged into the online version by calibre's development managers yet, so you won't find it in the calibre plugin list.

The good news is that you can directly download the Ask AI Plugin v1.3.2 version from the link in this Thread, and then install the current Ask AI Plugin using `calibre-Preferences-Plugins-Load plugin from file`.

This method won't replace your original Ask Grok plugin or your existing data; it will simply appear as a new plugin.

The new version supports OpenRouter and OpenAI request formats, and also provides separate support for Ollam (due to its unique request format).

Looking forward to your next update.
