Can I unbrick this Kindle Scribe?

I have a Kindle Scribe that I purchased from someone. Had trouble logging in, called amazon support only to be met with a "its no longer on our server" (blacklisted). Can't get my money back so is what it is at this point. I am working on getting a broken device from someone and will swap the motherboards. I've already verified the broken device isn't blacklisted.

So browsing around this forum, I found out how to put the scribe into demo mode. Limited functionality but you could at least write notes and load PDFs. I guess when entering the demo menu or whatever I accidently clicked the register device option which brought me to the SUYK Screen (but in demo mode). I can't turn on wifi so no captive login with browers, and no bluetooth either.

I don't know how to exit this screen and can't use the device in demo mode. Plugging in doesn't work as you need to be enable file transfer from the demo menu. I have let the battery drain all the way down, and even rubber banded the power button pressed so it fully drained (light no longer came on, even with the battery needs charging screen). This didn't help as it just loads back the SUYK screen once charged again.

Kinda dumb that its an option in demo mode and there no way to exit. Does anyone know if there anything that can be done?
