I've also tried this to no avail. My reader won't show the "allow data transfer" dialogue, so I'm basically locked out of reading the device via PC, I'm in a bootloop.
I've tried some other fixes from this forum/ wiki, such as trying to "boot into recovery console" via an SD card, but I don't think my device is reading the SD card I'm putting into it. The SD card may be too new.
