Agree 100%. Some people just sound like a sound bite that keeps getting thrown out there with no regard for relevance to the current topic.
I do have some experience with color. If I place my Kindle Colorsoft next to my Oasis, I can see a difference in the background. However, I don't read on both devices at the same time. When I am reading on my Colorsoft, I don't notice any problem at all (except of course, I miss the page turn buttons). I made the decision to purchase the Colorsoft over the Libra Colour because I don't like to rotate my reader every time I change hands.
Which is why I have been reading on my Nook GL4 more lately. My husband has taken over the GL4+. I have considered buying another GL4+ since BN is offering 20% off in the US right now. But I am waiting to see what they come out with in 2026.
