Update:
Unfortunately if an IDML file contains footnotes, Affinity currently does not bring them into affinity. The is a setback for the work I do, since about 60% of the books I am sent do contain footnotes. There is news of a major update coming in the Spring of 2026, so hopefully that omission will be find by then,
