I don't use a pin. But for now, success is that the patch applies. But if someone says it doesn't work after applying then I'll say it's not working.

I know the patch for increasing the time until shutdown never worked for my on my Libra 2 even though it applied.

So we'll have to wait for a report of success for both firmware versions.
