I apologize for the double post, it wouldn't let me edit. I did figure out my error in the API. I didn't have capital letters in the correct places. Here is the link for anyone who needs it.

I am still curious if it's safe to flash Tab8C with TabMiniC firmware. Will I need to root to do this? Would hate to brick my device.
