Hi, wonder if anyone could help me with CPL DRM. I've borrowed an e-book from my local library. I have only a Kobo e-reader and they don't support CPL. I was able to open the book in Thorium, with the passphrase and all. But I don't want to read on my desktop, I'd like to deDRM it and read it on the Kobo.
In the lcpl file I've found this line:
"encryption":{"profile":"http://readium.org/lcp/profile-1.0"
That would suggest that they're using LCP 1.0 and that deDRM plugin should be able to remove it. It's my first time encountering LCP, but from past replies in this thread I've understood that 1.0 is removable, while the problem are the 2.x iterations. However, deDRM does nothing on this book.
I'm on Linux Mint. Using Calibre 8.13, and deDRM 10.0.3.
i've also tried several solutions I've found online, as well as in this thread, but I've had no success.
Would appreciate any suggestions!
