Considering how little time I spend looking at the home page, the contents don't matter to me.
Currently my home page shows the 4 most recent books cover thumbnails and reading status in the top row, the second row has My Books where I see the 3 most recently added books cover thumbnails and the last 3 items from my Finished collection. The third row shows Find your next great read and Get started with Audiobooks on your eReader. Neither of these two has any images and the Get started item is the only one that has changed in over a year.
The 3rd row can be removed with the
Remove footer (row3) on new home screen patch but has never seemed worthwhile to me (see little time comment).
