Recently, among Android-based devices, the one that impressed me the most was the BOOX Onyx GO 7.

It was so impressive, and its customization options convinced me enough to buy it.
I'm from France, so I don't know how much it costs outside the EU, but the retail price is around ~ €240, which is more than reasonable.

After a very long time, I experienced a true WOW effect upon unboxing and powering it on for the first time. The black model offers excellent contrast and text sharpness (E-INK 1300), has an integrated Google Play store, runs very smoothly, and considering it's powered by Android 13, the battery life is surprisingly long.

Built-in speakers, the ability to listen to audiobooks, and ENOTES with a stylus are just extra bonuses.

It works flawlessly with apps like Kindle, Kobo, Pocketbook and Koreader.
The only thing to note is that in some apps, you need to adjust the function of the side buttons so they turn pages instead of controlling the volume.

For me, it's clearly the BOOX Onyx 7 (Black version).
In the black version, because in the white variant—although it's the exact same device—a different type of glass is used, and many people complain about light leakage around the edges.
