simplly set Preferences: adding books: Adding Actions (a tab): When using COPY TO LIBRARY to always CREATE A NEW RECORD for each duplicate format (this only kicks in IF the same title has the format)
While viewing the SOURCE library, select all the books you want to merge: right click Copy To Library: <target>optional action |
Also, if the source library has columns that the distention library doesn't, when the requestor shows that is asking which columns you want, select which columns you want to copy over.
