I have a Glo HD, a Boox Poke 2 and a Pocketbook Verse Pro.
My daily reader is the Boox, even though its screen is not quite as good as the other 2 and I have to charge it once per week (wifi is off except for downloading from my library). The reason for it being my daily, is that I love using the Calibre Sync app (linked with my dropbox account) to get my books and Alreader XPro is a really good reader app (in my opinion).
I bought the Pocketbook Verse Pro because I really like page change buttons and being able to send my books to it by PBSync from Calibre is really useful. However, the in-built reading app is sub-par. KoReader works on it but, in my experience, eats the battery. When I use the Verse, I use the old CoolReader fork - which still works but has not been maintained for some years. I wouldn't buy another Pocketbook unless /until they significantly improved the reader.
My Glo fell out of use because I experienced too many USB connection issues with my MacBook. My partner uses it when she has to read an e-book (she loves "dead tree" books) and only loads one book at a time.
If I was to buy a new e-reader, I think I would get another Boox but a Kobo would be my second choice (fingers crossed that I had no USB issues).
