ABBA--- I still am not over blaming ABBA for me getting a B on my German final in 11th grade. You see, a friend of mine was "in love" with this dumb boy who had brown eyes. And he didn't like her back. She was obsessed, and kept playing ABBA songs over and over. There was one (and I've totally and utterly blocked out which one it was) she specifically related to this kid. She sang it constantly. She played it on repeat in her car. It was all I heard for a month. It went through my mind constantly. It drove me *crazy.* So, come finals day, I couldn't get that song out of my head enough to conjugate verbs and whatever else I had to do. Therefore, a B. Coming from a straight A student, OH the shame....
