Question Verse Pro Color: Can the main menu (recent books) layout be changed?

In case I got the name wrong, I'm talking about the screen it boots to, where you see covers of your most recent books and a row of recommendations below. After turning off recommendations, there's 1 cover on the left half of the screen and 3 on the right one.

That just seems like a terrible use of space. When I swipe over to the next two pages, there are about 15 covers in a grid per page, which is tops

I would love to have 15 covers on the first page of the main menu too but I'll settle for any improvement. (I'm using Library too and have dedicated a physical button to it, but I can't figure out how to make it order books the same way as the main menu.)
