Device: PocketBook Verse Pro Color, Kindle 10th gen. Paperwhite (2018)
Thanks for the info everyone!!

Unfortunately I never got back after buying the e-reader. I ended up getting a PocketBook Verse Pro Color, I found a place where I could get it for €20 cheaper than the others.

I think I would've been better off with the non-color version but the color eink isn't as bad as the internet makes it out to be. I got used to the screen door effect after a few weeks, and the poorer contrast but finer brightness settings make it about as usable as the Paperwhite 4 (although Clara BW is definitely better). The screen surface is a bit abrasive compared to Kindle, but with the buttons it doesn't matter, and the back feels more substantial.

My only gripe is that the software feels a bit buggy/clunky compared to Kindle. Selecting a word and looking it up in the dictionary can sometimes get stuck for a while. Also, a lot of my AZW/MOBI books (all deDRMed) wouldn't open until I converted them to EPUB. But after all, I saved about €80, so I shouldn't complain too much
