Recovery partition overwritten after 5.x accessibility update (rollback issue)

Hey folks,

I ran into a strange issue after testing the new accessibility update path on my Kobo Clara Color.

Here’s what happened:

I was on the latest 4.x firmware and noticed a new Accessibility option in the settings:

Settings > Accessibility > Enable (System Update Required)

I tried it out — it automatically updated my device to the 5.x firmware.
That version turned out to be quite buggy, so I used the official menu option to go back to 4.x (not a manual downgrade).

Everything seemed fine, back on 4.x and working normally.
However: after that, whenever I perform a hard reset, the device boots into 5.x again instead of restoring from the original 4.x recovery.
Looks like the recovery partition was overwritten during the process.

I’m currently using the downgrade package shared on GitHub (thanks to Marek for that 🙌 - works great!),
but I’m wondering if anyone, maybe Marek or someone else, has:

•a copy of the original 4.x recovery image, or
•any idea how to rebuild or restore the recovery partition manually.

Would love to know if anyone else ran into this after testing the accessibility feature.

Thanks in advance.
