Print books (mainly Hardback) always wanted The first page of a section to be on the right. Sometimes, the Left would not have any content, thus BLANK.
If you dont want blank pages. don't view 2-up

It is "faulty" because the viewer is able to show other formats without a blank page.
But in the case of EPUB - the first page of section is always on the left. And if previous section ended on the right - we have a complete blank page between chapters.
So the only way right now to read EPUB is to convert it into FB2/MOBI and read that format.
The problem is only with EPUB.
And no, I do not choose the 2-column view, it is an automatic if the Viewer is wide enough. And I cannot find a flag in preferences to disable it. That is another annoying issue with the Viewer, but it can be overlooked for now.
