Well, UK and EU and some other places are legally obliged to quote tax (usually VAT) inclusive prices and the USA usually quotes tax free prices because there is no standard universal consumer tax in the USA, unlike many countries.

It's a very niche market. Handy for models with no buttons like an Elipsa.


I'd prefer to see them doing a 7″ mono ereader, or an 8″ mono model that isn't full of power-cover magnets and has at least 50% larger battery / 50% more run time.

Or an 8.5″ mono model with SD card slot and 400 dpi, or similar. Something more innovative and generally useful.
