I was about to post a question asking if anyone had purchased either of the new Scribe versions yet. Oops! 😄 I'm rather surprised the new devices haven't been released yet.

The one thing that's always interested me about the Remakable is the "paper-like feel." I've never been able to find (or properly apply) a screen protector to any tablet I've owned that does a good job of replicating the feel of writing on paper. IMO, the Scribe also doesn't do a great job of this either. I'm looking forward to reading opinions on whether the new Scribes do a better job of this.

Has the e-book reading experience on the Remarkable 2 improved much with more recent software upgrades? Or would I need to get the Paper Pro for a better reading experience? I've long since made peace with having a tablet and an e-reader, I just keep hoping someday there will be an "affordable" ereader that also has a paper-like note taking experience.
