So, this is solved. Next problem:
When I run the ODTImport plugin, there opens a window to select the .odt file. It is strange, however, that I can only select from "Computer" or from "User". I seem to have no chance to select a file from the USB drive. Is there a setting to be changed?

Ok. I got this solved as well: I have to select Computer/media/username, and then appears the USB drive. Not very comfortable, but works.
