AAAGGGHHHH!!!!
Well, on the bright side, installing Windows 7 RC didn't deactivate my Vista install. (The beta of 7 did). On the not so bright side, it also didn't add the bootloader that lets me choose which operating system to boot into! So now I either have to repartition a drive and install a Linux distro for a bootloader, or continue to boot into BIOS everytime I want to switch between Vista and Windows 7.
I went looking for a plug-in to make .lit files from Word files - and in the process stumbled into the Open Office.org forums. Arrogant little *%*&$^$&^$^% ^$^ jumped all over a poster who wanted to be able to create .lit files for his ebook reader. I nearly joined the forums so I could blast the idiot - but I restrained myself. Fortunately, someone else took care of it for me.
For Mother's Day, my beloved gave me carte blanche on my wishlist at BooksonBoard. Still being uncaffeinated, I decided to go do my choosing while logged into Windows 7; forgetting that A. I had not installed Java on it yet, and B. I didn't have an activated copy of MS Reader on it, either (I buy everything in .lit format, it's the easiest for me to format shift). It took me installing Java and the download still not working for me to remember I needed to be back in Vista for MS Reader....I think I need to go back to bed!
