I am running Calibre 8.12 on windows 11. I removed quality check plugin 1.14.2, restarted calibre, installed quality check plugin 1.14.3 (from github kiwidude webpages), restarted calibre.

Either rollback to 8.11.1, or install JSWolf's amended version attached to post #1258 in this thread… problem is due to changes in the libraries calibre uses.
