I've just tried both of them on a LibraColour with fw v4.43.23418. I can confirm that both patches seem to work OK without needing any kind of patch rewrites. |
Thank you so much for trying and reporting back! You've now given me a conundrum, as I didn't love the Libra Colour quite as much as my Libra 2 when I tried it (basically the background contrast), but it was pretty darn good -- so to have both these patches and Instapaper (and color and, I think, a faster processor) is very tempting (even if I don't actually need to replace my Libra 2 at the moment).
And, unlike certain unnamed contributors here, I will not try to convince you of the merits of these two patches! (although they are amazingly great
)
