I couldn't get the eBook server working. Likely due to lack of English documentation.

I did manage to to put 18 minutes of music on a mini CDR in CD Audio format, and it does play on the DD-1EX (even though the screen is blank) and on the DD-20.
The DD-20 has EBXA format, so attempted to run an incorrectly formatted EBG disc that the DD-EX refused to load.

I also managed to burn two EBG titles from downloaded ISOs and they worked on both Data Discman models, so I've ordered a cheap pack of 50 mini-CDRs. I'll make a data disc with mp3 files that will work on the Walkman and might work on the EBXA model, though I doubt it.

I'll also try authoring/formatting a few actual eBooks from epub or docx converted to doc or text with images.
