No one has to put up with anything they don't want to. I went several years without buying a Kindle e-reader because I didn't like their models. I went from the Kindle Oasis 6" to the Kindle Paperwhite 5. I wasn't convinced by what came in between, so I didn't buy it (or I returned it).
