A Way to Completely (but temporarily) Disable the Touch Screen

I would still like to see a total and complete disabling of the touch screen (like what the Kindle Oasis 3 had, which also had buttons. Turning the unit off and then back on once again enabled the buttons.)

Now, whey would I like this feature? I enjoy a more secure hold ANYWHERE on the bezel or screen whenever I choose to do so.

This is the ONE thing I dislike about Kobo's lineup, in addition the current batch of Kindles.

Yes, I understand I can partially "disable" the touch and instead utilize the swipe technique, but this only sometimes works for me, and I inadvertently end up turning a page. Or two.
