Just now picked up The House of Madelaine: A Novel, by Elaine Kraf. I want to acquaint myself to an important novel published during feminism's "second wave". I want to see how it coincides with my own understanding (and lack thereof) from that period - now that I have a little more sense. I'll begin my reading tomorrow.
I'll continue to [re]read Stefan Zweig when I start her novel.
The Zweig collection series are four separately numbered books in a new translation. I very much admire Zweig's writing and his insight into the nature of his characters' lives.
