I can remember our teacher in primary school (I must have been around 10 or 11 years old) putting that one on. Every once in a while we would watch a movie, either in class or with multiple classes.
I'm not sure if it was an appropriate movie to put on, but I think a lot of it went over our heads.
We also watched Dances with Wolves, which was definitely not for 10/11/12 year olds. And we watched, I think, Uncle Tom's Cabin around the same time. I think we must have been doing lessons on racism.
There were more age inappropriate movies watched, but I can't remember the titles. But that was the late 80s and early 90s.
