Yet the stupid UK newspapers, especially The Guardian (website) use the terms most days.

Also even if people are a similar age, similar ethnic background and experiences they do not have the same opinions, tastes, desires etc. The whole thing of grouping people by decade to make assumptions about them is a fallacy. So it's lazy and abusive. It doesn't even work for White Americans of the same age and income (which it was invented for) as I've met them when working for or with USA companies (even in USA).
