It's about time the Gen X'ers got a proper name - Lucky Generation perhaps.
Actually the "Boomer" are 2 different sub groups lumped together. Lately the second half have been getting the nicknamed "Jonesers".

Only applicable to white Americans? Ok, but still quite applicable to that subgroup. The life experiences are quite different between those groups,

A, B, C, D, Vietnam is a different life experience from no draft, no war, and double digit inflation rates. Which is different from the next group of "latch key kids".
