I know it's pretty much the antithesis of or even blasphemy on an e-reader,

but I've been playing around with phone stuff...sims, e-sims, data plans burner phones burner sims, VOIP etc...

I (re)got a Google Voice number (had one long ago but let it lapse) and got it all set up and put the Google Voice app on my main phone and an older phone
to get things all working. It works great with internet access or a data sim or esim.

So I installed the Google Voice app on my Boox Go 6 and it works great!

Can make calls (requires bluetooth earbuds or headphones etc), send texts, etc. all the stuff Google Voice does.
