Thumbs up My kindle lives

Yippy, My kindle got a second life.
Okay, after the last message in this forum, I gave up and just put away my kindle in the cupboard. However, two days ago, I recharged my kindle hoping that the touch would work and then after charging for four hours, i tested it and it worked.

So, i think the kindle needs much longer to fully and completely discharge to such a level of emptiness that can only be achieved after leaving it for a month or two.

Note: Anyone, who is in a similar situation, please try everything but don't reset your kindle especially if its jailbroken. I am almost 95% sure that the touch screen issue is a hardware issue which often fails and not something that could be fixed by resetting. I mean if everything is responsive and your touch still doesn't work then, even your kindle doesn't know what's wrong with it because its a hardware issue.
This is from my experience of resetting my kindle in which nothing was achieved and then when the touch finally worked I had spent almost three two days to jailbreak my kindle and then spend two whole days to get kual to launch so that I could launch Koreader, which is quite difficult for Kindle Paperwhite 1.

So as an advise only reset your kindle after you have left it to discharge for two months and if it doesn't work, then reset it, although at that point I think it wouldn't matter anymore.

Thank you to everyone.
