Generally this happens when your video card driver is old and needs updating or if Chrome has dropped support for it.

So first try updating to the latest video drivers supported on your machine.

If that does not work, then turn off use of GPU acceleration inside Sigil (as Sigil is not a video game - it has virtually no impact on speeds). To do that:

Go to Sigil Preferences -> General Settings -> Advanced and check the box to Disable GPU Acceleration in QtWebEngine. Then save your preferences, and shutdown Sigil and restart it.
