I remember reading Mary Norton's Borrowers books when I was young, and liking them a lot. Now, today, the second book is on sale as part of the US Kindle Daily Deal for $2.99. But when I went poking around, I also found a collection of the five main Borrowers books on sale for $2.99 as well. So...

The collection contains: The Borrowers, The Borrowers Afield, The Borrowers Afloat, The Borrowers Aloft, and The Borrowers Avenged, and the blurb says it includes the original black-and-white drawings. I have no idea if these stories have withstood the passage of (lots of) time, but the collection has 4.7 stars at Kindle and 4.5 stars at GoodReads, so they've probably aged pretty well.

Oh, and if for some reason, you want to spend your $2.99 on just the second book instead, here you go:
