6" e-readers come in many different shapes. Some have page-turn buttons on the sides, at the bottom, asymmetrical... (to mention the shape of some that I have). In general terms, regardless of their shape, I find 6" e-readers more comfortable to hold with one hand because they are smaller and lighter than any 7" model (there are also different shapes in this size). Similarly, and for the same reasons, I find a 7" e-reader more comfortable to hold with one hand than an 8" one. But every person and every e-reader is different. Generalisation is always unfair to specific individual situations.
