The latest Harry Bosch is 'Brass Verdict' and it is, arguably, one of his best. Very intricate and well woven plot.
I started with 'The Concrete Blond' and have since read ever one. I once attended a book signing Connelly spoke at and was interested to hear how he got into the writing business. He's been intrigued by the mystery writers of the 30's and 40's and just had to have a go at it.
Also, if you like the Bosch series, you might try the John Sandford 'Prey' series. Ditto Robert Crais.
