Hi everyone,

I know this thread is a bit old, but I just wanted to add a quick update in case anyone is still looking for a solution in 2025. Unfortunately, there is still no way to connect Calibre directly to the Kindle app on iPad via USB — iOS/iPadOS still blocks that.

The main options today are:

Send to Kindle: Amazon now supports EPUB (since late 2022), so you can convert in Calibre and send by email or through the official Send to Kindle app.

Cloud storage: Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud → then “Share to Kindle” on iPad.

Alternative reading apps: Apple Books, Marvin, FBReader, etc., which integrate much more smoothly with Calibre libraries.

So in short: the same limitations mentioned earlier in this thread still apply, but at least EPUB support makes things a little easier nowadays.

Hope this helps someone stumbling upon this thread today!
