First, I tried to reincarnate
my very old thread but dear "MobileRead" dismissed my post

But this is OK

I’m not too proud to repeat myself
Famous
TinyOPDS server app just got a major update!
About a month ago I suddenly felt like revisiting my old TinyOPDS project — a little program that, believe it or not, has been running almost flawlessly (well, almost!) for me and a few thousand other people for around 12 years. At first I only planned to tweak the HTTP server a bit, but I ended up practically rewriting the whole thing, about 80 percent of the code
In short, for those who don’t like reading long posts (even though this app is for people who do love reading): TinyOPDS lets you build your own personal "Project Gutenberg"-style library. Just download TinyOPDS, grab a full "Project Gutenberg" torrent (fb2 only), point TinyOPDS to the folder with the archives, start a scan, and in a few hours you’ll have your very own massive e-book collection.
Project page with detailed documentation and wiki (including English, Russian and Ukrainian):

It should work pretty much anywhere, Windows, Linux, or macOS (via Mono).
Small donations ($1–5) are warmly appreciated, though not required. Once I collect enough, I plan to buy an EV code-signing certificate so Windows will stop complaining about "unknown publisher". Covering that out of pocket just doesn’t feel right.
If you’d rather say thanks without spending money, that’s fine too: create a GitHub account (takes only a few minutes), unsubscribe from notifications if you like, and give a star to my top repositories.
Enjoy!
Regards, your old friend SeNS aka sensboston
