Ok, so you're in EDL mode.
So, use an EDL client (like mine) and find out what the HWID is, because I don't know.
I used your USB log tool and it has
Type Dev
VID 05c6
PID 9008
Location/ID 5&317da462&1&11
Name QUSB_BULK

And with your EDL app, I see this...not good

C:\Users\anon\Downloads>edl /i
Found EDL 9008, configuring...
Could not write device

I tried /r and /g and each give "Could not write device"

Question: what does "tin can" refer to? Is that the frame?

Black on frame and red on square shaped point, 0.
Black on frame and red on circular shaped point, 1800 mV. Oops, wrong setting. On DC and mesauring, yes, 0.03 on square and 1.796 on circle.

Voltmeter on "diode test" as in photo.
Black to tin can.
Red to the point that you just measured as zero.
Hold that position and with your third hand push the power button for a reset.
It should come back automatically as 05c6/9008 EDL mode.
Yes. Black on frame, read on square (0v) button press for about 10 seconds, windows ding-dong and usblog showed it disconnect and reconnect.
